How do I cut the tube to my required length?

The polyethylene material is durable but manageable. You can easily cut it to your desired size using a sturdy pair of scissors or a sharp utility knife.

Can this tube be buried underground?

Yes. While it is UV-stabilised for above-ground use, it is also designed for underground installation if you prefer a hidden irrigation system.

Is it difficult to bend around corners?

The tube is flexible, but like most polyethylene pipes, it can be rigid when cold. To make it more pliable for tight turns or fitting attachments, try soaking the ends in warm water or leaving the coil in the sun for a few minutes. Alternatively, use an elbow connector such as the Claber 91025.

What size fittings should I use with this tube?

It is a standard 1/2" (13–16mm) main tube. It works perfectly with all Claber Rainjet 1/2" fittings, as well as universal 13mm barbed or compression fittings.

Is it compatible with Hozelock or Gardena systems?
