The Pop-Up Sprinkler Elbow Connector is a 1/2-Inch male thread and nut Lock compression connector.  Nut Lock (compression) fittings are a straightforward solution for building your irrigation system. Place the nut collar onto your pipe and firmly push the pipe over the barbed connection point; then, slide the collar to the thread edge and twist it onto the thread, creating a solid compression joint. You can reuse your fittings on multiple occasions due to quickly removing the fittings from your irrigation pipe without the need to cut your hosepipe or use tools.
