Drip Connectors
Most drip-feeding tubes from the major brands have an internal diameter of 4mm. However, Gardena’s drip line has an internal diameter of 4.6mm. Drip irrigation connectors are essential components that allow you to assemble and customise your drip irrigation system. They connect various drip components such as pipes, emitters, drippers, micro-sprinklers and valves, ensuring a smooth and efficient water flow to your plants. Here are some common types of drip irrigation connectors:
- Straight Couplings: Connect two pieces of tubing in a straight line.
- Elbow Couplings: Connect two pieces of tubing at a 90-degree angle, allowing you to change the direction of the water flow.
- Tee Couplings: Connect three pieces of tubing, allowing you to create branches in your irrigation system.
- Cross (4-way) Couplings: Connect four pieces of tubing, creating more complex branching patterns.
